Career Specialist

FutureWorks Career Center is looking for a full time Bilingual (English/Spanish) Career Specialist to work on our WIOA funding program. The successful candidate will provide direct services/case management to our members regarding the Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act, for both job placement and training. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, as well as solid knowledge of the One Stop Career Center system, and the WIOA funded programs. You will be assisting our members with every aspect of their training and job search efforts, in a fast paced environment, working with a diversity of individuals and skills levels. This position requires the ability to efficiently problem solve both skills and technical issues to help move our members through this structured funding process.

 

Resource room specialist

We are looking for a full time, bilingual (English/Spanish) Resource Room Specialist. The successful candidate will provide direct services to our job seeker members in our Resource Room. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, as well as solid knowledge of Word, the internet, e-mail accounts, and social media like LinkedIn and Twitter. You will be assisting our members with every aspect of their job search efforts, (specifically job applications, resumes, cover letters and e-mail accounts) in a fast paced environment, working with a diversity of individuals and skills levels. This position requires the ability to efficiently problem solve both skills and technical issues to help move our members on in their job search.
